Merely a child growing up in Robert Taylor Projects, Alfonzo Tyrell Hilderbrand never would have imagined that doing something just for fun would eventually turn into a full-fledged profession- MUSIC.

He will not hesitate to tell you his first rhymes was weak. But cut him some slack, he was only thirteen. Now, close to a decade later, at the age of 22, this man has belted out club bangers like “Swag-extra-on,” “Shawty Bad,” and “Money(That’s what its all about).”`
ZothePrince says it all started in his bedroom. His father bought him and brother, Andre “Geniusboy” Hilderbrand a Zoom MRS-802B Digital Multi-track Recording Studio. From then on, with his brother producing the beats, ZothePrince spat out the lyrics, producing rap label, New Error. ZothePrince is the artist. Geniusboy is the producer. ZothePrince is not disappointing his producer-brother. He definitely spits hot fire on the mic. Not rapping about the bullshi* heard on the radio, he is not only making his self known as the new rap phenom of Chicago but clearly making it known he is ZOTHEPRINCE- heir to the rap game’s throne.
When asked what makes ZothePrince, not just another rapper? he says, “Being from a household of 12, I really didn’t have friends. I was isolated to my family and myself. When you listen to my music, you not only hearing my story but my family’s also. My music is unique because of them. Within telling their story and mines, the message I convey to my fans are my life experiences. I’ve learned life will present you with many obstacles but don’t let that stop from reaching your goals and always keep God first. When listening to my music and seeing my lifestyle, you will know I live by those principles alone.”
